Research Statement
My interests are in the use of symbolic resources (signs, symbols, narratives, texts) in everyday life settings, including environments of civic engagement, organizations, families, and relationships. The foundations for this work are located in social action theory and hermeneutic empiricism. The purpose of this work is the pursuit of social justice.
