Before coming to the University of Utah in 2005, Vincent Pecora taught for twenty years at UCLA. He works primarily in the areas of late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century literature, critical theory, and intellectual history, and most recently on the question of secularization in modernity. He is currently serving as department chair.
