Use of government documents in undergraduate research

I am currently investigating how undergraduate students use U.S. government information for research. The current trend is that more and more government publications are available on the open-access Web. Government sources are a key resource for helping students do high-quality research online. Published undergraduate citation studies show that after books and journals, government sources have become the third most frequently used type of primary/scholarly information for undergraduate student researchers, mostly due to easy online access. However, librarians still tend to consider documents as
