Welcome current Masters and Ph.D. students!
Theoretically everything you need to complete your degree is right here! Well, okay your papers and reading cliff notes aren't here, but almost everything else is. Don't see something you think should be here? Tell Corrinne.
Forms & Information
First, here's a link to the Graduate Handbook. This is where all the technical details of the program can be found. The handbook is your friend. Read the handbook.
Comm Department Forms (these are the forms that are required by the department, but not sent to the Graduate School):
Competency Approval Form - each PhD student (and Master's students who are doing Comprehensive Exams) must have this form signed by their committee. This is usually done at the Program of Study Meeting.
Prospectus Approval Form - All dissertations and theses must have a prospectus meeting, and this is the form you'll need for that meeting!
Independent Study Form - you must fill one of these out for each independent study you take.
Application for Funding - this is what you'll need to fill out if you would like to apply a fellowship (dealine January 15th, and you'll need new letters of recommendation to go along with the application).
