U.S./China Healthcare Conference
"The U.S. and China: Parallel Challenges in Health Care" Conference
Event to be held December 4-5, 2008 in the Fort Douglas Conference Center on the University of Utah campus. The conference will address the current state of the health care systems in the United States and China in comparative perspective.
Panel topics include the challenges to health care posed by inequality, migration, and aging populations; the problem of insurance; the impact of traditional Chinese medicine and alternative medicine options on health care delivery; and potential directions for policymaking on public health.
The proceedings are free and open to all interested students and faculty.
