Brazilian Club

Brazilian Club

The Brazilian Club is a place for those who are curious about Brazil's diverse culture. The club is open to students, faculty, staff, and anyone else interested in participating. You may come to practice Portuguese, or just to meet people who share your interest
about the country. Please join the club whether or not you speak Portuguese.

The first meeting was held on September 24, 2009. We had Brazilian treats, games and activities. Thirty-five people attended the meeting, and we expect that number to grow in the future. We plan to hold monthly meetings with music and dance presentations,
cooking classes, capoeira, movie screenings, and more. The Brazilian Club is sponsored by the Latin American Studies Program and by the Associated Students of the University of Utah.

If you want to join our mailing list to receive information about our
next meetings, or any other information regarding the club, please
