How do I sign up for ESL classes?
If you are a Conditional Admittance (CA) student, you must make an appointment with the ESL advisor, Kate Lythgoe, in order to sign up for any class. All other students may register through their CIS accounts for ESL classes with the exceptions of ESL 1040, 1050, and 1060. In order to take these classes students must take the ESL Writing Placement exam which will sort students into skill levels. Once students know their scores, they must email their name, student number, and the class and section they want to take to kacey.thompson@utah.edu.
